After Mad Med featured The Beatles’ Tomorrow Never Knows at the end of last weeks episode, we learned that it cost as much as $250,00 to get that spot. James McCartney has said that he would like to start a second generation version of The Beatles. It would be comprised of himself, Sean Lennon, Dhani Harrison and Zak Starkey. While I think most people can agree this is probably a bad idea (especially since James is the least talented of the bunch), just seeing their resemblences to their legendary fathers is fascinating and a little freaky. Watch a video of each performing live after the jump:

45 years ago today Michael Cooper shot the now famous album cover for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band at Chelsea Manor Studios in London. Aside from Paul and Ringo, there are currently five living icons who were pictured on the cover. Click through to find out who they are:

By now we’ve all come to the ‘crispy realization’ that not everyone is going to know who Bon Iver is, or even Arcade Fire. However, to not know who Paul McCartney is seems impossible even for today’s youth. Sadly, a search of twitter proves otherwise. See more/die a little inside after the jump:

On February 11th, 1964 eighteen-year-old Mike Mitchell captured The Beatles’ first American concert at Washington Coliseum. 50 years later they can be seen for the first time as they are being auctioned off by Christie’s.  Click through for more photos and your music pairing.
