Paul McCartney and I attended the Brooklyn Nets game last night (unfortunately we were not sitting together). Paul McCartney wanted a free t-shirt even more than I did. You have to love his enthusiasm. Why would the fan who caught the shirt not experience the greatest moment of his life and hand the t-shirt to Sir Paul? We’ll never know. Watch Here

 (via Paul McCartney responds to 50-year-old fan message)Back in 1963 British teens Barbara Bezant and Lyn Phillips recorded a message for Paul McCartney on a tape and sent it to the London theater where the Beatles were performing. The tape didn’t reach the Beatles but was eventually purchased years later by a historian who decided to find the women with help from BBC. The ladies were reunited in Liverpool and BBC brought something special for them
